Presentations that contain videos and/or other digitally engaging information are highly encouraged.  Your written report is the notes written in the Notes section of your Powerpoint slides as a narrative and should not exceed 500 words in total.  The selection of the organisation/brand will be made by Week 2. Before starting on the assignment, students will need to discuss their chosen organisation with their lecturer to ensure there is no duplication. 1. The brand/organisation to be used for presentation must be agreed upon by the lecturer. After discussion with the lecturer, every student must email a written request with (1) the name of the organisation, and (2), their reason for choosing this organisation to the lecturer.2. The lecturer will reply to the email as confirmation of approval for the brand/organisation being used in the assignment.Engaging the audience will be critical to attaining good marks.  A presentation and analysis of the case (organisation or brand) must be supported with relevant quantitative data to show a thorough understanding and analysis of the relevant issues. During the presentation, reading from the slides is discouraged as the audience can read for themselves.For this assignment, students are required to demonstrate their ability to identify and evaluate resources, capabilities, competencies and the competitive advantage of a business/ organisation, with minimal supervision. Suggested frameworks for the presentation:1. Positioning Map. Using a positioning map, students will identify and map the relative positions of the key competitors.2. A very brief overview of the firm and its product or brand, to  a. give the audience an idea of what your business is, including the current market situation and how the present economic environment affects the organisation   b. describe the product, service and the target market. 3. Vision, Mission Statement & Goals. Does the organisation/brand have a clear Vision and Mission Statement?  How do these statements relate to the nature of their business?4. Unique differentiating features. Highlight the unique features of your products/services, particularly what is going to make them stand out above the rest.5. Competitive analysis. Using the Positioning Map, evaluate the competitive threats of three competitors by comparing their products and services.Assessment Criteria used to grade this task: Students should demonstrate the ability to1. Make appropriate use of the concepts of strategic management in oral and written forms.2. Clearly demonstrate linkages between factors in the internal and external environments. 3. Communicate complex information clearly and succinctly in oral and written forms.4. Develop a strong, credible argument. 5.
