Part- AThe groups formed earlier for the concept design stage will continue to finish of their group report. The group report must include the following knowledge areas:• Work breakdown structure• Gantt chart• Project budget and resources plan• Stakeholder management plan• Risk management planThe report will discuss the application, appropriateness and reference the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).Successful completion of this task will require students to demonstrate the following:• Application of specific PMBOK area to the event• Interpret collected data to make an informed decision• Apply technical and theoretical knowledge to develop the plan• Write a management plan following a recognised structurePart- B• Students are required to form themselves into groups (not more than three or four persons).• Once the students form into a team, they are required to work on “ Team Contract”• A Team Contract is a document that should be prepared by each group before starting Assessment Task-1 Concept Design of an Event Project.• The basic purpose of this team contract is to accelerate your team’s development, to increase individual accountability for team tasks, and to reduce the possibility of team conflict.• Students will develop their own “rules of engagement” through the development of a Team Contract.• This contract provides an opportunity for your group to specify preferred methods of communication, action plans, meeting schedules, goals, and consequences of actions (or inactions) of group members.• The contract should be developed and signed BEFORE starting the Assessment Task-1. For the Team Contract to be valid, provide the signed and dated original contract to your Lecturer/Assessor by Week-7 during your class time. Give a photocopy of the signed approved to each group member for their record keeping.• In-Case you find that your team is not working as well as you had hoped you are required to attend to it immediately. Call a team meeting immediately to discuss and resolve the challenges your team is facing; do not delay.• Your team should refer to the established contract procedures and roles outlined in your contract. Seek guidance from your Lecturer/Assessor to resolve any conflicts so that you will have the most positive team experience possible. Let’s block ads! (Why?)
